The 2015 launch challenge for Lash Sensational was to regain the Number 1 position in mascara for Maybelline New York. The creative aim was to maximise the global creative to demonstrate the point of difference, that is, it reveals a more layered lash look. The creative also had to show how to achieve this look using the “learn the turn” application technique. Key executions had to make the most
of spokesmodel Christy Turlington’s sophisticated look and use before & after visuals to show the dramatic difference Lash Sensational makes. Leading with TV, a how to VOD, a Stylist wrap and dynamic outdoor, the campaign was able to build Lash Sensational into Britain’s No.1 selling mascara for 2015.
